Who we are



OIFS is a non-for-profit organization whose goal is to reduce the prevalence of childhood obesity among Inuit populations.

 

 

The project that the Shad Valley Laval team has brought forth is an NGO by the name of OIFS (Organization for Inuit Food Security). Since a major contributing factor to obesity in Inuit communities is the lack of food security, Shad Valley Laval came up with this brilliant idea to address the problem.
